CALIFORNIA NEEDS A BRIGHT NEW LEADER WITH A VISION AND POWERFUL VOICE.
February 26, 1990
I, Klement Tinaj, am running for the Governor of California because I want to bring jobs back to the working class, invest in our schools and after-school programs, fix roads, improve our transportation, and offer more affordable housing. I want to make sure that our Veterans and the men and women in uniform who risk their lives everyday to keep us safe are taken care of.
After I opened my own business and school in Los Angeles I noticed the problems in the education system and the high unemployment rate. That's why I decided to run for the governor.
When I am governor all the state and city colleges will provide free education for all students after they apply for scholarships and grants. The rest of the tuition will be covered. Act now for FREE education. Act now to raise teachers salaries and act now for building more schools.
I know a lot of people who left California because of high unemployment, health care, education system, etc. They came to California to follow the American dream but instead they spent all the money they brought with them and they still couldn't find work. After two years of struggling to find work they gave up and went back to their state. When I am the governor I will invest in more jobs by building and fixing roads, highways, bridges, airports, schools, beaches, farms, reservoirs, recycling water, parks, and recreations, etc. Affordable health care and affordable housing will be available to everyone based on their income.
I was born and raised on a farm and I know the hard work and the dedication my father and grandfather put towards their farms. We need food to survive, like food needs water to grow. Growing food is not wasting water. We need to protect and help our farms by building more reservoirs, recycling water, and investing in water. Act now for building more reservoirs, recycling and investing in water.
We need to put the working class back to work and start investing in affordable housing. I opened my own foundation to help feed the homeless and the hungry. The homeless population is growing every day due to no jobs and not enough affordable housing. When I am governor, all the working class people will have access to affordable housing based on their income.
In the state of California alone there is over 5,000 cases of human trafficking. After meeting with the survivors and being a part of the local foundations for human trafficking. I was touched and shocked how the government kept it quiet for this long. It's time to act now to STOP human trafficking and lend a hand to the survivors.
By living in the heart of Hollywood and being around the art industry. I noticed that a lot of production companies film in different states because the permits and locations in California are over priced. Act now to reduce the prices on film permits and locations. Free permits for students and schools.
All businesses will be treated equally in the state of California. We will do what ever it takes to make sure businesses are not leaving our state. We will make better deals than any other state and give a tax break to all the new businesses to help them jump start.
California is and will always be the home to veterans, farmers, educators, men and women in uniform, and all citizens who use to live, currently live or planning to live in our state.
Our State was built by hard working immigrants like my father and your father. We don't condemn, we praise them. Every immigrant is here because of the American dream. I believe that every immigrant should have a fair hearing, report themselves to the system and follow the procedures and laws to become a California permanent resident.
California Constitution Article II, Section 1 states, "all political power is inherent in the people. That government is instituted for peoples protection, security, and benefit and they have the right to alert or reform it when the public good may require." Act now to build a better tomorrow. Together, we can be the voice and the change for the people of California.
